Courtney Gross (she/her)
Executive Director
First Year at Camp: 2014 (Started as a counselor)
Bit About Me: I graduated from Wesley College with a degree in Psychology, a concentration in clinical psychology, and a minor in art. I was a PreK teacher for four years while also working as an ECE Administrator and Center Director. I left teaching to serve Camp Possibilities full-time as the Executive Director. I love working with children and helping them learn about their world. There is nothing more gratifying than watching a child achieve a task for the first time or witnessing that "ah-ha" moment. I am honored to be able to serve in this role and to help continue Camp's mission.
Memory: One of my favorite memories from camp was actually from "The Year of the Great Rain Storm." It was always rainy and muddy. I mean, it rained most of the day, every day that year. It was still raining during the Thursday night dance, and I somehow ended up dancing in the rain with another counselor. I was caked in mud and the rain soaked through my dress, but I loved every second of it. I guess when life gives you a week of rain, you eventually embrace the chaos.
