Mackenzie Lookingland (she/her)
Programming Director
First Year at Camp: 2015 (Started as a camper)
Bit About Me: Hello, I’m Mack! I have been a type one diabetic for 12 years now and started attending camp as a kid. I quickly realized this was a place that would always hold a special place in my heart and I feel so lucky to be able to give back to a place that gave me so much. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Notre Dame of Maryland University in Elementary Education. I currently teach 3rd grade in Baltimore County Public schools. With my experience and background in education, and my history in camp, I am so excited to step into this new role and help to create the best week of the year for so many campers! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and going for walks while listening to good music!
Memory: While there are way too many good memories at camp to choose from, I would have to say a favorite memory was my year as the Aquatics Director. Being able to collaborate with the rest of the amazing staff and put together this week of camp is such a good feeling. I really enjoy getting to know the campers and keeping it a fun and safe week for all!
