Megan Weaver (she/her)

Head Counselor

First Year at Camp: 2011 (Started as a camper)

Bit About Me: After being diagnosed in 2009 at age 6, I found out about camp through my endocrinologist. At 8 years old I packed my bags and headed to Camp Possibilities for the first time. At that time I didn’t realize just how important that the decision to overcome my nerves would be to my life! From that first year, Camp Possibilities has become my home away from home; my second family. Outside of camp I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends!

Memory: It’s so difficult to choose a favorite memory, but I would have to say my first year on staff. Since I was a camper I’ve always known that I wanted to become a counselor and give back to the camp that gave me so much! Hearing stories from campers and learning about their lives, I finally got to give back to other young type ones.
